Prey for the next opportunity

Higher or lower from where I cut my last trade does not matter; that's arbitrary thinking. Instead of PRAYing for the market to implode whenever I lack exposure, I PREY on the next opportunity. Big difference.

“When I first started trading, I'd catch a nice setup and make some good money .

Eventually it'd be time to cut, and although I'd often hesitate, sometimes I'd manage to do so fluidly.

But immediately after, I'd find myself PRAYING for recession.

It felt like with no exposure the only thing I was allowed to hope for were substantially lower prices in the market.

I'd pick a level, and dream what life would look like when price got there, and how much my purchasing power would have increased as a result.

I'd inherently become a doomer, just because I wasn't in a trade anymore.

If price managed to reverse upwards, I'd quite literally seethe.

What I've come to realize over the past few years is that the market refusing to selloff meant that I would be presented the same opportunity that had just recently rewarded me.

It made no sense for me to hope for lower prices.

When you think about it: the entire premise of crypto trading is to reach our goals speedily.

And here was the market threatening that I would be granted yet another wave of setups that had just proven to be incredibly fruitful, sooner rather than later.

I was the same trader that managed to capitalize of those opportunities initially.

If the market allowed it, why would I not be able to do that again?
